Diverticulosis is a condition characterized by the formation of small pouches that protrude through weak areas along the colon wall. Pancreatitis refers to the condition where the pancreas, located behind the stomach on the left side of the abdomen, becomes swollen or inflamed. This medical condition can manifest through several symptoms including left-sided abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, fever, swelling in the upper left side of the abdomen, and jaundice.
