Reducing Intake of Beneficial Fats

These fats play a crucial role in supporting healthy bowel function and nourishing the skin, nails, and hair. Excellent sources of good fats include omega 3 fatty acids, nuts, and seeds. To adhere to this diet, it is recommended that no more than 10% of daily calorie intake should come from fat sources. This means it is advisable to avoid adding fats through spreads or dips and instead focus on consuming fats that occur naturally in foods such as nuts, grains, and protein.
