8. Baby Powder
Baby powder is likely the easiest and gentlest of the homemade jock itch remedies you’ll find. This stuff is pretty cheap at the store, and it leaves you feeling dry, clean, smooth and it actually even smells good. There’s no real list of steps here. Just cover the infected area in baby powder and go on about your day. It’s going to keep the infected area very dry, which will stop the bacteria from proliferating. This works best when paired with another remedy.
9. Coconut Oil
Coconut oil has the same sorts of properties that you will find in honey, only more of them. This is why coconut oil is considered one of the healthiest oils on the market. Just make sure that you’re getting pure, organic, unrefined oil. You don’t want the oil to go through the processes that they put seed oils through, or else it will be stripped off all its healing properties. Apply the oil generously to a clean area that’s infected, and really take your time to rub it in. Just leave it on to dry and let it do its work.
