Feeling Fatigued and Lacking Energy
After a long day of work or running errands, it’s natural to want to relax and recharge with a nap. However, if you consistently find yourself feeling tired, it could be a sign of an underlying health issue, even if you get enough sleep at night.
In addition to struggling to get out of bed, you may also experience a general lack of energy. While it’s okay to be a couch potato on occasion, if you find yourself constantly unmotivated and unable to accomplish your goals, it could be a sign of persistent depressive disorder.
Overcoming Self-Criticism and Building Self-Esteem
Finding the right balance between confidence and arrogance can be a challenge. As the saying goes, we often tend to be our own harshest critics. However, it is crucial to develop a healthy level of self-esteem and recognize your inherent beauty, both on the inside and outside. Dwelling on your flaws and shortcomings is not productive or beneficial for your well-being. While it is important to acknowledge areas for improvement and work on bad habits, carrying a perpetual sense of inadequacy throughout your life is detrimental. Feeling like you are never measuring up is a common symptom of persistent depressive disorder.
