Oral Cavity Spots: A Closer Look
Oral cavity spots are a type of internal rash, also known as enanthem, that can be observed inside the mouth and may extend to the tonsils. These spots typically develop into small, painful ulcers. Interestingly, the appearance of this internal rash can either coincide with the occurrence of a skin rash or precede it by one to three days. Notably, oral cavity spots are commonly associated with viral infections such as measles and roseola infantum.
