8. Fatigue
It is not uncommon for a person who has a herpes virus infection to have an overall sense of weakness, tiredness, and a lack of energy. This fatigue can affect the musculoskeletal system. It causes the limbs to feel painful and heavy, making moving difficult. Fatigue manifests itself with shortness of breath, leading to depression, unexpected weight loss, and anxiety. Herpes infections can leave a person feeling like they need to take a nap multiple times during the day.
9. Blisters Inside the Urethra
The urethra is what links your bladder to your genitals. Men and women who have type II herpes may form severe sores on the inner lining of this tube. As they urinate, a person might feel a burning sensation or like a razor is passing over the urethra as the urine travels over these sores. With genital or mouth sores, doctors can do a visual examination. However, with blisters inside the urethra, a doctor will need to perform a test to confirm that herpes is the cause of the irritation.
