Itching is a common symptom associated with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. This type of lymphoma can sometimes lead to a rash, particularly in the case of a rare form known as angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma. It is important to note that itching can also be an early warning sign of dehydration, which often occurs as a result of nausea and vomiting. However, in the context of Hodgkin’s lymphoma, the presence of cytokines, which are molecules that can irritate the nerves beneath the skin, also contributes to this symptom.
Sensitivity to Alcohol
Hodgkin’s lymphoma can lead to a heightened sensitivity or allergic reaction to alcohol. This sensitivity can occur at different levels of intensity and may not manifest in every instance. Typically, individuals may experience discomfort in the lymph nodes of the neck, which can last for about a week after consuming alcohol.
