Understanding Lymph Node Lesions
Lymph node lesions, also referred to as lymphatic lesions, are internal abnormalities that are not easily visible. In order to confirm their presence, a biopsy may be necessary. These lesions can cause swelling of the lymph nodes and often resemble symptoms of illnesses that can lead to swollen lymph glands. Therefore, it is crucial to rule out any infections before a proper diagnosis can be made.
Difficulty in Eating: A Common Symptom of Cancerous Tumors
One of the common challenges faced by individuals with cancerous tumors in the mouth or throat is difficulty in eating. The presence of these tumors can significantly impair the ability to consume food. In the case of Kaposi Sarcoma, lesions may develop on any mucous membranes, including the soft tissue skin inside the mouth and throat, as well as in the nasal passages and on both the outer and inner parts of the eyelid.
When these lesions form on the inner linings of the body, they resemble wounds due to the constant moisture in the area. Although they are typically not accompanied by itching or pain, they can progressively grow and make it nearly impossible to eat properly. Additionally, their growth can also hinder vision, making it difficult to see clearly.
