The severity of rectal bleeding can vary depending on the stage of the disease. In some cases, a significant amount of thick red blood, along with blood clots, can be observed, leading to a feeling of faintness. This can be accompanied by a rapid decrease in blood pressure, resulting in extreme physical weakness. If the individual experiences excessive blood loss during bowel movements, immediate medical attention is crucial. In such cases, a blood transfusion may be necessary and should be administered promptly at a hospital.
