Additionally, it is advisable to exercise caution if a mole starts to bleed, itch, or crust, if there are changes in sensation, or if pain develops in the area.
Dealing with Itching
Experiencing intense itching on the skin can be a potential symptom of skin melanomas. If a mole suddenly becomes a source of irritation, it is advisable to seek medical attention from a doctor or dermatologist. It’s important to note that itching can also be caused by other conditions like allergies and eczema, not just skin cancer. However, if the itching is specifically concentrated around a particular mole, it is highly recommended to have it examined.
