Problems Arising from Meningiomas and Vision
Meningiomas can occasionally cause issues with vision. When a tumor forms in the sphenoid wings, individuals may notice a gradual decline in eyesight or experience double vision. Additionally, tumors located in the suprasellar region of the brain can exert pressure on the optic nerve, leading to impaired vision. In rare instances, intraorbital tumors that develop around the eye sockets can affect the external appearance of the eyes, causing visible bulging and applying pressure.
Loss of Sense of Smell Due to Meningiomas
