Seizures in Multiple Sclerosis
Seizures can occur in individuals with multiple sclerosis (MS), although this particular symptom is relatively rare, affecting only about 5% of those with the condition. There are several types of seizures that people with MS may experience, including generalized tonic-clonic seizures, generalized absence seizures, and partial complex seizures. The common approach to managing these seizures is through the use of anticonvulsant medications.
