10. Rest (Proper)

We saved this for last because rest for some people with bursitis isn’t working out so well, due to how they sleep or the quality of their mattress. Though if you do make those changes and have a comfortable night’s sleep, then you should really rest more when you have flare-ups. The idea here is to take the pressure completely off of those joints. If you have followed some of the other tips, then combining them with this may just help to alleviate that inflammation and take away your pain.
