The Softness of the Brain
Contrary to common belief, the brain is not as firm as most people think. While it may appear solid, especially to those who have never touched one, the reality is quite different. In laboratory settings, brains are often preserved with chemicals, giving them a firmer texture. However, in its natural state, a fresh and untreated brain is incredibly soft, comparable to the consistency of tofu or gelatin.
We Utilize the Entire Brain’s Potential
Dispelling a common misconception, it is untrue that humans only utilize 10% of their brain’s full potential. In reality, the brain is constantly active and never “turns off,” even during sleep. Surprisingly, research has shown that coma patients can exhibit brain activity comparable to that of healthy individuals, with as much as 15% of their brain still functioning.
