Episcleritis, a condition that affects the white part of the eye, is often associated with Crohn’s disease. This condition can lead to uveitis and sclera, both of which can cause eye discomfort and blurred vision. Inflammation plays a significant role in the development of these eye-related conditions. Consequently, Crohn’s disease not only poses a risk of vision loss but also contributes to eye inflammation and swelling.
