All About Aspergillosis

Invasive Aspergillosis: A Serious Infection

Invasive aspergillosis is a highly severe infection that primarily targets the lungs, although it has the potential to extend its reach to other areas of the body. An equally perilous form of this infection is known as cutaneous aspergillosis, which occurs when the fungus enters the body through a skin wound and subsequently develops due to the spreading of invasive aspergillosis.

Understanding Chronic Aspergillosis

Chronic aspergillosis is a persistent and prolonged fungal infection that primarily affects the lungs. This particular type of infection leads to the gradual degradation of lung tissue, resulting in the formation of holes within the lungs. Furthermore, it is not uncommon for multiple clusters of fungus to develop within the affected lungs.
