Benefits of Grounding or Earthing

Grounding’s Influence on Sleep and Chronic Pain

A significant study on grounding examined the effects on sleep quality and chronic pain in a group of 60 participants. The duration of the study was one month, during which half of the subjects slept on grounded pads, while the other half slept on placebo pads. The results of the study were nothing short of remarkable.

Approximately 85 percent of the participants who slept on grounded pads reported falling asleep faster, in stark contrast to only 13 percent of those in the control group who experienced the same. Furthermore, every participant who slept on grounded pads claimed to wake up feeling more refreshed and well-rested, compared to only 13 percent of the control group.

The study also revealed notable differences in the participants’ statements regarding chronic back and joint pain, as well as muscle stiffness. The grounded group reported experiencing reduced pain and improved flexibility compared to the control group.

Effects of Earthing on Bodily Processes

Earthing, also known as grounding, has been the subject of several studies that have explored its impact on various physiological processes. In a comprehensive study, researchers conducted five different experiments to investigate the effects of earthing on the body. The experiments involved one group of subjects who were grounded, while the others remained ungrounded.

The findings of these experiments revealed several interesting effects of earthing on the body. One significant result was the decrease in sodium, magnesium, potassium, protein, and iron levels in the grounded group compared to the ungrounded group. This suggests that earthing has the potential to modulate the levels of these important elements in the body.

Furthermore, the research also discovered that continuous earthing can lead to a decrease in blood glucose levels in individuals with diabetes. This finding indicates that earthing may have a positive impact on managing blood sugar levels in diabetic patients.
