Problems Caused by Overpronation

Overpronation has been linked to several foot conditions and disorders. Studies have shown that it can reduce blood flow in the Achilles tendon, which can hinder the healing process of tissues. Other evidence has also indicated that overpronation is a contributing factor to shin splints, metatarsalgia, and patellofemoral pain syndrome.
