Symptom: Pain radiating to the feet
Experiencing leg pain that travels all the way down to the feet is a common symptom known as sciatica. This condition occurs when the sciatic nerve, located in the lower spine, is compressed. The pain may also radiate through the buttocks. In addition to causing discomfort, sciatica can lead to weakness or numbness in the legs, making movement challenging.
Symptom: Leg cramping
Leg cramping is a common occurrence and is usually not a cause for concern. Although the sudden contractions can be extremely uncomfortable, most people simply endure the cramping until it subsides. One effective remedy is to drink plenty of water, which can help alleviate the sensation. However, if the leg cramps are caused by a synovial cyst, this approach may only provide temporary relief.
