Muscle spasms and cramps can be a result of low potassium levels in the body. In cases where athletes suffer from injuries such as tight hamstrings or back spasms, it is often advised to take a break from physical activity and replenish electrolyte levels. Since potassium is not naturally produced by the body, it is crucial to ensure its absorption along with other electrolytes to prevent the occurrence of such cramps.


Dizziness: Causes and Prevention

Experiencing dizziness or lightheadedness can be a symptom of severe potassium deficiency. It may also manifest as double or blurry vision. The sensation of being lightheaded, dizzy, or off balance can be a result of sudden spikes in blood pressure or complications arising from an electrolyte imbalance. To alleviate these symptoms, it is essential to increase potassium intake.
