However, it is advisable to avoid engaging in strenuous activities such as jogging, running, and heavy housecleaning until you have been given the green light by your doctor.

It is also essential to refrain from lifting anything that is heavier than your baby for a period of up to eight weeks. Additionally, women who have previously undergone a c-section are more likely to experience placenta abnormalities in future pregnancies. Due to these and other factors, most doctors recommend opting for a cesarean section only if a vaginal delivery poses a greater risk.
