Tips For Getting Water Out of Your Ears

Using Water to Clear Blocked Ears

When it comes to removing water from your ears, it may seem counterintuitive, but using water can actually be an effective method. By following these steps, you can alleviate the discomfort caused by water blockage in your ear. Start by tilting your head so that the affected ear is facing upwards. Next, take an eye dropper and gently fill your ear with water. Allow the water to sit in your ear for about ten seconds. After that, carefully flip over so that the ear with the water is facing downwards. The water, along with the trapped moisture, will then drain out, providing relief and restoring normal hearing.

Vinegar and Alcohol Method

Preventing ear infections is possible with the vinegar and alcohol method. This method not only helps in keeping bacteria away but also prevents their growth in the ears. To apply this method, you need to mix equal parts of rubbing alcohol and vinegar. Using an eye dropper, apply three or four drops of the mixture into the ears. Afterward, gently massage the outer ear. Wait for about 30 seconds before tilting your head sideways to allow the ear to drain. The alcohol aids in evaporating any excess water, while the vinegar acts as a barrier against bacteria.
