Prognosis of Gerstmann Syndrome
Gerstmann syndrome is a lifelong condition, with no known cure. However, it is possible for some of the symptoms to decrease or diminish over time in adults. The developmental form of the syndrome is less likely to show improvement or “heal,” but many affected individuals are able to adjust and live relatively normal lives.
