They will inquire about the symptoms experienced and carefully observe any visible indicators of infection, such as unusual mucus production. In some cases, medical imaging tests may be necessary to further investigate the underlying cause of the headaches. CT scans are commonly utilized to produce detailed images of the head and sinuses, enabling doctors to identify any signs of inflammation. Additionally, MRI scans can be employed to rule out the possibility of brain-related issues contributing to the headaches.
