Tonsillitis and Tonsil Stones
Many individuals often suffer from tonsillitis and other ailments related to the tonsils, which can also lead to the formation of tonsil stones. Connection Between Post-Nasal Drip and Tonsil Stones
Post-nasal drip caused by chronic allergies, sinusitis, or other respiratory issues that irritate the nasal passages can frequently lead to the formation of tonsil stones. When excessive sinus drainage flows down the throat and there is a decreased production of saliva, it creates an ideal breeding ground for bacteria to thrive and gradually solidify into tonsil stones.
