Is Deodorant Linked to Breast Cancer?
Deodorant is a widely used product that helps prevent body odor. Antiperspirants
Antiperspirants are commonly found in most deodorants as they help to prevent sweating. However, it is important to note that these products may also contain fragrance-creating chemicals, which can trigger allergic reactions and exacerbate body odor. Another ingredient commonly found in antiperspirants is aluminum compounds, which work by forming temporary plugs in the sweat ducts. While there are some studies suggesting that the body can absorb these compounds and that they may have estrogen-like effects, there is currently no conclusive evidence to support the claim that aluminum compounds increase the risk of cancer.
