Risk Factors for Bronchitis
Bronchitis can affect anyone, but there are several risk factors that can increase the chances of developing this condition. Individuals who smoke or are frequently exposed to secondhand smoke are at a significantly higher risk of both acute and chronic bronchitis. Moreover, older adults and infants are more vulnerable to developing bronchitis after experiencing a common cold or flu.

Complications of Bronchitis
