Why You Should Add Kettlebells To Your Workout

Benefits of the Farmer Walk Exercise

The farmer walk exercise is a straightforward yet highly effective workout that may appear deceptively simple. By using two kettlebells, you can easily perform this exercise and make use of the available space. Simply hold a kettlebell in each hand and start walking. Move from one end of the room to the other, turn around, and repeat the process. It is essential to maintain proper form during this exercise, ensuring that your shoulders are down and back, and there is no tension in your neck. Additionally, it is worth noting that you can achieve the same benefits by using dumbbells or even a suitcase filled with books.

Goblet Carry

The Goblet Carry exercise is a great way to strengthen your upper body and core muscles. To perform this exercise, start by holding on to either side of the kettlebell handle with both hands. Make sure to bend your arms so that the weight is positioned in front of you, a few inches away from your chest. As you hold the kettlebell, be sure to tuck your elbows against your body and keep your shoulders down and back. Additionally, maintain a high head posture throughout the exercise.

To execute the Goblet Carry, simply walk from one end of the room to the other while holding the kettlebell. Once you reach the other end, turn around and repeat the exercise. If you don’t have a kettlebell, you can also perform this exercise by holding one end of a dumbbell and letting the rest hang down between your forearms.
