Hand-foot-and-mouth disease not only causes bumps inside the mouth but also triggers a distinctive rash on the hands and feet. The rash typically emerges one to two days after the appearance of the mouth bumps. It is commonly characterized by a red coloration and, interestingly, does not induce itching. Additionally, the rash may include a combination of blisters, flat spots, or sores. These skin manifestations can also occur on the knees, elbows, and buttocks.
