Fever
This is a common symptom of all cancers and many other conditions. Fever is common in the later stages of bone cancer and it rarely occurs at the beginning. This occurs because your body is attempting to fight an illness or infection. If the cancer impacts your immune system, then it will become harder to stop infections. This symptom tends to mean that the cancer is in an advanced stage. You should seek medical attention if the fever is painful and exceeds 103 F.
Fatigue and Low Energy
Bone cancer will leave you feeling tired and exhausted. Rest rarely improves the fatigue. This tends to be an early symptom of many cancers such as bone cancer. The resulting pain and anemia will also make the fatigue more significant. While the fatigue will occur regardless of your choices, you can reduce its impact with good sleep, proper nutrition and managing your activity.
