Loss of Appetite: A Common Symptom of Liver Cancer
One of the common symptoms experienced by individuals with liver cancer is a loss of appetite. This condition often leads to a decrease in portion sizes and frequency of meals, without any identifiable cause. Even after consuming small amounts of food, individuals may feel a sense of fullness in their stomachs. It is important to note that appetite loss is not just a symptom but can also worsen other symptoms, as it leads to inadequate energy intake and nutrient deficiencies.
Abnormal Stool: A Possible Indication of Liver Cancer
Changes in the quality of stool can be an indication of a problem with the biliary system’s drainage. In cases where there are tumors in the liver, compromised liver function is often observed. Normally, the liver releases bile salts into the stool, giving it its typical color. However, when there is a lack of these salts, the stool may appear pale, white, or chalky. Although occasional occurrences of abnormal stool can happen in healthy individuals, frequent recurrence of such stool may be a potential warning sign of liver cancer.
