Surgical Options for Salpingitis
Surgical intervention may be necessary for women with salpingitis who experience complications. Typically, laparoscopic procedures are performed to address these issues. During the surgery, the surgeon will aim to drain any abscesses present on the fallopian tubes. In cases where the tubes are filled with fluid, they may also be drained. Additionally, if scarring or adhesions are found on the fallopian tubes, the surgeon will either remove or correct them. Surgery may be recommended by a doctor if a woman experiences persistent pelvic pain or desires to conceive in the future.
Salpingitis and its Impact on Fertility
