The duration of your hospital stay will depend on various factors. In most cases, the examiner may need to monitor you for a period of 4-6 hours before allowing you to go home. However, if you underwent a noninvasive procedure, the examiner may release you immediately. On the other hand, if you were administered sedatives, your discharge will only be permitted once you are completely alert, have stable vital signs, and are breathing properly. Keep in mind that after the procedure, you should not drive for at least 24 hours. It is advisable to arrange for a friend or family member to accompany you to the hospital.

Pediatric neurosurgeons are specifically trained to perform cerebral angiography on children. Interventional and vascular radiologists, as well as vascular neurologists, are also capable of conducting this procedure.
For noninvasive cerebral angiography, the procedure can be performed by either a radiologic technologist or a radiologist.
