The Outlook for Individuals With Leukocytosis
The outlook for individuals who have developed leukocytosis depends on the underlying disease or condition. In the case of leukemias, such as acute myeloid leukemia, the survival rate is generally 70% or higher. However, other types of leukemias may have different prognosis rates. For instance, leukocytosis caused by inflammatory conditions or bacterial infections can typically be effectively treated or managed by healthcare providers. In general, individuals with leukocytosis have a positive prognosis.
