One notable figure is Kim Peek, who served as the inspiration for the character in the movie Rain Man. Peek was renowned for his incredible memory. He had the unique ability to read two pages simultaneously, using his left eye for one page and his right eye for the other. In just eight seconds, he could complete and memorize the content of both pages.
Another remarkable person with savant syndrome is Leslie Lemke. Despite suffering from brain damage, cerebral palsy, and being without eyes due to glaucoma damage, Lemke displayed an incredible musical talent. Without any formal training, he could listen to a song once and then flawlessly play it on the piano.
