Intracranial Dermoid Cyst: Uncommon but Potentially Troublesome
Intracranial dermoid cysts are a relatively rare occurrence. Often, they go unnoticed, with individuals only becoming aware of their presence during an MRI or CT scan conducted for different reasons. Typically found in individuals under the age of 30, intracranial dermoid cysts can manifest symptoms that include compression of specific regions of the brain, spontaneous or traumatic rupture, seizures, and headaches.
