Chemical and Biological Weapons: A Closer Look
During the Gulf War, Iraq was known to have been conducting experiments with both chemical and biological warfare agents. However, it is important to note that no evidence suggests these weapons were actually deployed during the conflict. Coalition forces, however, did target and destroy several facilities where chemical weapons were believed to be stored. As a result, there is a possibility that some level of exposure to these chemicals may have occurred among troops, which could have potentially contributed to certain health issues.
The Controversy Surrounding Gulf War Vaccines
Troops deployed to the Gulf during the war were subjected to a multitude of vaccinations, receiving more than 15 different shots within a short span of time. Shockingly, this vaccine cocktail even included two vaccinations that had not yet received official approval. This raises concerns about the potential interactions between these vaccines. Moreover, there is speculation about the possibility of these vaccines interacting with other factors, such as infectious diseases prevalent in the desert regions where the troops were stationed.
