Tempestuous
The tempestuous histrionic subtype is characterized by negativistic or passive-aggressive tendencies. These individuals are often described as moody and emotionally unpredictable. Those diagnosed with this subtype are highly sensitive to criticism and may interpret harmless comments as insults. Their behavior can alternate between sulking, impulsive actions, violent anger, or extreme excitement. Over time, individuals with this subtype may experience a shift in their histrionic behaviors, adopting a more critical perspective towards others and their achievements.
Disingenuous Individuals: Understanding the Antisocial Features
Individuals with the disingenuous histrionic subtype exhibit various antisocial features, with the severity of their disorder influencing their symptoms and behavior. Initially, many of these individuals may come across as sociable and likable. However, their fear of being perceived as weak causes them to view kindness as a vulnerability. Consequently, they often disregard social conventions, break promises, and display irresponsible behavior. In severe cases, these antisocial tendencies may even manifest as psychopathic behaviors. Such individuals are characterized by their self-centeredness and insincerity. Notably, they may possess a heightened awareness of their manipulative actions compared to those with the standard subtype.
