Pain in the Bones
Bone pain indicates that cancer has spread to the bones. Cancer advances to bones near the urinary tract and affects the rectum and anus. This pain can also spread to the hips and the ribs, at which time it affects your movement. If you have pain in the bone resulting from cancer, normal OTC painkillers will not ease the pain. A doctor can give you stronger medication to relieve the pain as they run tests.
Anemia
Anemia is a condition where the blood doesn’t have enough red blood cells. These cells are important in the transportation of oxygen all over the body. Anemic people experience fatigue most of the time. Patients with bladder cancer lose a lot of blood from the tumor in the bladder. If the tumors are removed, the surgery from the treatment also causes loss of blood. Other cancer treatments, such as radiation and chemotherapy also cause anemia. If you are always anemic even when you eat iron-rich meals, you need to see a doctor for cancer screening.
