Weight Loss
All forms of cancer cause weight loss. Bladder cancer can also lead to fast weight loss. A patient loses weight as the body makes efforts to fight the cancerous cells in vain. If not treated early, cancer continues affecting a patient’s body resources, causing them to waste away further. Again, once a patient starts treatment, the chemotherapy, surgery, or radiation makes one nauseous, leading to weight loss. The treatment causes one to lose appetite, vomit, and feel sick all the time. During such times, they may not be getting the nutrients they need to stay healthy and fight off infections. However, if weight loss is the only symptom you have, a screening will come in handy as weight loss is a common symptom of several conditions.
