Telangiectasia
Telangiectasia is a common occurrence in individuals with carcinoid tumors. These tumors can cause the blood vessels to dilate, leading to dry flushes on the face. Over time, prolonged flushing can result in the development of telangiectasia. Telangiectasia manifests as small reddish spots or bluish veins that become visible on the skin. While they can appear anywhere on the body, they are typically found on the face, particularly around the nose, cheeks, and chin. They may also be seen on the legs.
