Bloating even When Hungry
If you have gastritis, your stomach will feel full even when you have not eaten anything. When you eat something, the stomach feels fuller. After gastritis affects you, the bloating is mild, and you may confuse it for overeating. However, as the condition progresses, the bloating feels more and does not ease. If the bloating is accompanied by moderate or severe abdominal pain, which also does not ease, then it is likely you have gastritis.
Nausea
Gastritis makes you feel sick. You will feel uncomfortable all day with the stomach in pain. The pain will persist even when your stomach is empty. Nausea can make you vomit, or it can be discomfort that stays with you for a long time. You can ease nausea by taking some anti-nauseants, but nausea comes back once the medication wears off. There may be meals or conditions that trigger nausea – you can avoid that as you seek treatment.
