Buckwheat
Although one might think buckwheat is a type of wheat, it isn’t and does not have any gluten. A type of pseudo-cereal that is very nutritional, buckwheat is consumed in many ways including flour. Raw buckwheat has 122 carbohydrate grams and 17 grams of fiber in a cup. In addition, it provides close to 100 percent of daily intake for magnesium, copper, and manganese. Buckwheat also has large amounts of niacin, vitamins, riboflavin, vitamin B6, potassium, zinc, iron, selenium, and phosphorus.
Jams and Perserves
With a lot of processed sugar, jams and preserves are high in monosaccharide carbohydrates. They are high in carbohydrates, with 1 percent being protein and the remainder carbohydrates. A single ounce contains 19.3 grams of carbs, of which 13.6 consists of sugars, so consume in moderation.
