How to Recognize the Onset of a Gallbladder Attack

2. Indigestion

Yes, this is yet another symptom that could be due to a lot of different factors. Eating too much or eating food that’s a bit on the spoiled side, etc; or even having something like stomach ulcers. Though indigestion is also a sign that your gallbladder isn’t doing well. Ongoing indigestion after meals, especially fatty meals, is a sign that you’re dealing with a blocked duct and thus your gallbladder may be attacking you.

3. Abdominal Pain

Most adults out there can definitely tell the difference between having abdominal pain that’s brought on by gas or the need for a bowel movement, vs. if something is actually wrong. Abdominal pain that strikes you in the upper abdomen, below the breastbone, and persists in its pain may be the biggest symptom of a gallbladder attack that there is. This is the bile trying to force its way out of the gallbladder, though it’s unsuccessful due to an obstruction. You will definitely feel this pain. It’s going to hurt a lot.
