10. Thyme Remedies
Besides making culinary dishes, thyme is a beneficial aromatic plant with many medicinal uses. Its primary active ingredient is thymol, antifungal, and antiseptic properties. Thyme is also a rich source of antioxidants that can reduce gum inflammation. You can use a drop of oil on a wet cotton swab and apply the swab to the affected tooth. Alternatively, add one drop of thyme essential oil to a glass of water and use it as a mouthwash.
