Rice

A typical cup of cooked rice is loaded with 44.5 grams of carbs and due to its higher fiber content, brown rice is healthier than white rice. White rice has only 0.6 grams of fiber which meets only 3 percent of the daily recommended intake (DRI). Brown rice for the same amount contains 3.5 grams of fiber and 14 percent for DRI. In addition, brown rice has many valuable minerals including phosphorous, magnesium, and selenium.

Cookies are not typically baked with healthy ingredients including high-fiber whole grain flour and result in having many carbohydrates. A cookie usually has 10 grams of carbs with half being sugars. Chocolate cake typically has 50 grams of carbs for an average size piece and is high in sugar content and adding frosting elevates it more.
